Concept Model
My Gregory family design begins with a concept. In order to express the emotion of expressing the enclosed experience visually, I made a concept model with a strong feeling of explosion.

I used foam core to create different textures by keeping part of the flat and white surface, cutting neat shapes by exacto knife and breaking holes with my hands. It reflects that idea that even the same materials can be managed to create different texture. Different color and pattern inside the cube means the experience and thought that a person keeps in his mind. With the colored puzzle pieces attached at the breaking out area could help to deliver the idea of having some of the characteristics' motion of escaping or expressing.
